MPG

Miles per gallon: the US standard fuel economy measure.

MPG (miles per gallon) is the US standard fuel-economy unit: miles per 3.785-liter gallon. 25 MPG ≈ 10.6 km/L. EPA publishes combined city/highway MPG by model. Fleets track real MPG for their vehicle, typically 10%–15% below the manufacturer's sticker.
