Simplified flat-tax regime for Microempreendedor Individual (sole proprietor) in Brazil.
Brazil's MEI regime uses a flat monthly tax (DAS) without per-expense deduction. Even so, MEIs should track mileage to (1) manage real operating cost, (2) bill reimbursement from corporate clients, (3) support future migration to ME or EPP regimes. The mileage receipt is useful even without direct tax deduction.
