A fleet vehicle is a vehicle registered to the company with corporate insurance, contracted maintenance, and assignment to a specific employee or to the motor pool. Distinct from a BYOD personal vehicle. Corporate fleets need a fleet-management system (fuel, maintenance, tickets, telematics) and dedicated staff once they grow past about 10 vehicles.
