A delivery driver makes local drops — food (DoorDash, Uber Eats, iFood, Rappi), packages (Amazon Flex, Loggi), or goods. May be a 1099 contractor, sole proprietor, or W-2 employee. Mileage on commercial routes is deductible; digital logs with origin (restaurant) and destination (customer) support the deduction. On a motorcycle, per-km rates run 30%–40% lower than for cars.
