CFDI (Comprobante Fiscal Digital por Internet) is Mexico's electronic tax invoice. To deduct mileage, companies pair the internal mileage receipt with CFDI for the same vehicle's fuel and maintenance. Without a CFDI, SAT will not accept the deduction in any regime. Standardized mileage receipts make the accounting reconciliation between reimbursed mileage and fuel CFDI straightforward.
