Comprobante Fiscal Digital por Internet, Mexico's official electronic invoice.
CFDI (Comprobante Fiscal Digital por Internet) is Mexico's mandatory electronic invoice since 2014, managed by SAT. Current version: CFDI 4.0. Includes a digitally signed XML and a viewer PDF. For corporate mileage reimbursement, the fuel and maintenance CFDIs support the deduction. Without a CFDI the expense is not deductible, no matter what other proof exists.
