Troubleshooting Clara CSV import
Solve the most common problems when importing mileage receipts in CSV format to Clara.
CSV import problems to Clara usually have simple causes and quick solutions.
Format error is most common. Check if the file is actually in CSV format and not XLS or XLSX. Clara accepts only CSV with comma or semicolon separator.
If you receive character encoding error, ensure the CSV is in UTF-8. Quilometragem always exports in UTF-8, but if you manually edited it, encoding may have changed.
Missing or wrong-order columns cause import failure. Clara expects specific sequence: date, origin, destination, distance, rate, amount. Never manually alter the exported CSV.
Incorrectly formatted values (like comma instead of dot for decimals) may be rejected. Quilometragem handles this automatically, so avoid manual editing.
If the problem persists, contact Clara support. They may have specific limits by file size or number of lines.
